Our Behaviour Approach

We believe discipline is about discipleship—teaching children to follow Jesus, not just follow rules.

Our approach is restorative and relational. When conflict or misbehavior occurs, we don't simply punish—we walk children through repentance, reconciliation, and restoration.

We teach children to:

  • Recognize their actions and take responsibility
  • Understand how their choices affect others
  • Seek forgiveness and make amends
  • Grow in Christlike character through correction

Every interaction is an opportunity to point children back to God's grace and truth.

Biblical Foundation

"My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves..."

Proverbs 3:11-12

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

1 John 1:9

Emotional Wellbeing

Creating a safe space for children to thrive emotionally and spiritually

Emotional Safety

We create an environment where children feel safe to express emotions, ask questions, and make mistakes without fear of judgment or ridicule.

Known & Valued

Small class sizes ensure every child is known by name, celebrated for who they are, and supported in their unique journey.

Pastoral Support

Our team prays for each child regularly and provides spiritual encouragement during difficult times or personal challenges.

Peaceful Atmosphere

We intentionally cultivate calmness, order, and peace—free from the pressure, anxiety, and competition found in many educational settings.

Inclusion & Special Educational Needs

We believe every child is made in the image of God and has inherent value. We welcome children of all backgrounds and abilities who will thrive in our Christ-centred, mastery-based learning environment.

Our Honest Capacity

While we have a heart to serve all children, we want to be transparent about our current capacity:

  • We can support children with mild to moderate learning differences who benefit from individualized pacing
  • Our mastery-based approach naturally accommodates different learning speeds and styles
  • We do not currently have specialized resources or staff for complex special educational needs (e.g., severe autism, profound learning disabilities)
  • If we're not the right fit, we'll be honest and help you find better support elsewhere

We encourage families to visit, meet our team, and discuss your child's specific needs openly so we can discern together if Oasis is the right environment.

Safeguarding Commitment

The safety and protection of every child is our highest priority. All staff and volunteers are DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding, and committed to creating a secure environment where children are protected and cherished.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." — Matthew 19:14
